Applied advanced technical skills and knowledge to fabricate, rework, and repair metallic and nonmetallic bonded parts and assemblies for operational helicopter applications. Followed engineering instructions to ensure compliance with material specifications and Bell process specifications. Repaired rotor skin, cracked skin, and skin core delamination by bonding loose material and/or damaged plies with epoxy, hot bond, mechanical pressure, or vacuum pressure. Read and interpreted blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications sketches, job orders, planning documents, and engineering drawings. Determined equipment requirements and the method and sequences of operation to be followed in repairing parts using epoxy resins and similar materials.
