Work Experience
Assembly Worker
Network Imaging Solutions - Davenport, IA May 2018 to February 2020
I work on different assembly lines we make parts for whirlpool refrigerators. I learned how to do more then 10 different assembly positions working there. I used power and air tools to screw parts together such as drills. I would use oil, greases and industrial strength adhesive to assemble different parts. I also help do quality checks of my lines parts. I work on a line that had a team of 10 to 12 co-worker’s some days and then I would also work alone on a different line other days I am fine with either way.
Laborer/ Part-time Crew Lead
BUDGET CONSTRUCTION - Davenport, IA
August 2012 to March 2018
I would help lay new asphalt driveways (Residential) and parking lots (commercial) and we would also fix just pot holes if that’s all that was needed and we offered to both residential and commercial customers asphalt sealer for asphalt that was starting to dry out so they would get more years out of it before having to replace the asphalt completely. I would compact all the gravel that was first laid down and rakes evenly then I would help shovel and lay hot mix asphalt from 2 to 6 inches thick over top the gravel and once that was raked out evenly I would drive a roller with someone spraying water in front of my wheels and compact the asphalt down till it harden. I would also help supervise new employees on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on how to fix potholes and use sealer the proper and safe way.
Assembly Line Worker
BMS Logistics - Davenport, IA
September 2007 to August 2012
I would work on fast paced assembly lines packaging cat and dog food. I was also the line lead the last 2 years I worked there and I would make sure to keep track of how many pallets my line had done that day and also how many boxes were down a hour. I would figure out where to place employees on the line to make sure we were getting out the most amount with the best quality a day. I would also help train any new employees.
