DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinating with plant down turnaround & shut activities involving furnace re-tubing and repair, column, vessels, heat exchanges, boilers and different piping modification. Describing the work scope to all concerned foreman & employees at work site, explaining about safety hazards of the job, implementing required precautions during work before beginning.
Review SOW and preparing support service schedule, which includes scaffolding, insulation, crane, forklift, welder, fabricator & machinist requirement for the job & communicating to workshop planner.
Planning and monitoring day wise progress of activities as per schedule. Ensure as far as is practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out compliance with in the agreed budget and schedule.
Experience in all of the following weld process SMAW (Shield metal arc welding), GTAW
(gas tungsten arc welding) and GMAW/MIG (gas metal arc welding). Interacting with shutdown engineers & supervisors about job critically, job scope, safety and risk before preparing the job plans.
Organizing material man power and required support for the continuous follow-up of the job to get a satisfactory acceptance from notification generator. Periodical Corrective and break down maintenance of given unit. Carried out all major overhauling of equipment's.
Execution of all preventive Maintenance as per work order issued by planning department as per schedule. )
Execute all kind of emergency work orders issued by operation department. Co-coordinating with various department to execute the shutdown jobs like planning, welding shop, machine shop electrical, instrumental, operation, engineering, inspection and process.
