KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Successfully recruited and retained 24 physicians in 8 different specialties, almost exclusively without a recruiter.
Effectively marketed physician practice. Developed a marketing program for a primary care practice. Created a new logo and branding that better represented the practice. Negotiated insurance contracts that were much more favorable to the practice. Increased revenues and reduced expenses. Physician compensation was always in the 97th percentile in earnings compared to MGMA data.
Resourcefully guided physician group to a new ownership structure. Led group from hospital ownership to a physician owned practice. Credentialed all providers with hospitals and insurances, negotiated favorable insurance contracts, hired staff, purchased and installed a practice management system, developed policies, etc., all while working full time in previous position. Everything was in place on day one, and the first insurance claims were sent at the end of week one.
Led a large multi-specialty clinic through leadership change, computer conversion and facility building and remodel program. Kept physicians and staff together, while providing great service to our patients and community programs.
Owned and operated 3 Firehouse Subs stores. As a franchisee, researched locations, completed build out, managed and operated the three locations. Hired and trained staff to efficiently take care of our customers. Completed 14 donation events to local first responder organizations of over $323,000.
