The Island is very dynamic with a cluster system controlling the 3 hotels located 20km apart however each property still works independently. Over my 10 years on the island with Anantara I was transferred between the 3 hotels as and when they needed support with the first few years being in Anantara Al Sahel and finishing in Anantara Desert Island resort. Nearer to the end of my time on the island (2018) I was overseeing 3 restaurants (Arabic, Seafood and Buffet restaurant) and the BQT events in our 10,000 square foot conference center supporting the then GM Nico Vivier in the absence of a F&B Manager.
