Working as a Division Manager/Bitumen and look into the production of Bitumen Emulsion(SS 1h), cut back bitumen(MC 70).The plant has the capacity of 2500 MT bitumen storage facility with two nos. of thermic fluid heaters of 2 Million K cal/hr. Also the plant has the Bitumen oxidation plant of 10 MT per batch.

Also involved in the production of Bitumen primers, Rubberized emulsion and Bitumen Mastic.

Experience in importing bulk bitumen by ship.

Also have experience in exporting drum bitumen to other countries like Africa.

Responsibilities as a STORAGE TERMINAL MANAGER /Production activity.

Worked as a Storage Terminal manager. The terminal capacity is of 12000MT for Bitumen, and 4000 MT solvent and Fuel and Base oil capacity of 36000 MT.

Liason with port authorities for the shipment with proper documents to bring the ship to the appropriate jetty.

Responsible for terminal day to day planning and scheduling of road tankers according to the customer.

Submitting the monthly budget for the terminal to the management.

Meeting the government body organisation periodically.

Handled ship/road tanker discharge/loading.

Road tankers loading by loading arm technology with mass flow meter(corialisis) and batch meter.

Responsible for Ship berthing, quantity surveying, QC checking.

To liase with port authority for the ship arrival to the beth.

Ship discharge/loading through mass flow meter(corialisis) EMERSON MAKE.

Worked in systems like single point mooring and loading line.

Responsible for the inspection of the leak detection before start loading the material.

Sample collection will be done for every ship arrival and sending the same to the external laboratory.

Arranging the 3rd party quantity surveyor and conduct the surveying w.r.t the terminal/ship and conclude the quantity assessment with gain/loss within the limits.

Maintaining the opening and closing stock of the material and accountable for received stock from and into the storage tanks.

The tank is equipped with radar gauges and display the mass while discharge/loading.

All the pipeline excluding the jetty line are fixed with Pneumatic valves and thereby controlling the entire loading/discharge/transfer operation.

Responsible for both FMC blending skid(USA).

The entire terminal automation is equipped with PLC/SCADA system in CCR.

Responsible for the operating manuals for the terminal and implementing the same.

Handled the oil fired heaters of capacity 2 million Kcal.

Worked in the inline Denmark based Inline automatic blending skid system(ENH) for the production of bitumen emulsion.

Also handled the automatic drum filling facility for the bitumen in drums.

Developed the product and safety data sheets of all Bitumen products.

Developed a few recipes for bitumen emulsion.

Having good knowledge in both production and quality of bitumen products like bitumen, cut back bitumen, PMB and bitumen emulsion SS1h and CSS, rubberized emulsion using inline emulsion blending skid.

Maintaining the stock of the Bitumen storage tanks using new inventory system for Bitumen volume.

Maintaining the daily inventory reports.

Responsible for the next day daily loading schedule for the customers.

Prepared the daily production report that includes the account of bitumen loaded to the customers and filling in drums and used for the production of emulsion and cutback bitumen and forward the report to MD of the company.

Looked into the maintenance of all equipments including the calibration.

Operation and controlling the plant and the central control room using SCADA system.

Also involved in submission of re-conciliation documents for the incoming and outgoing cargo of the terminal.

Involved in upgrading the terminal with new technology/cost reducing factor and reporting the same to the management.

Knowledge in health, safety of the Terminal manpower.

Experience in the costing of bitumen products.

Lab exp: Involved in all Testing of bitumen and bitumen products and important tests like bitumen penetration by ring and ball method, penetration by Penetrometer and viscosity for emulsion and cutback bitumen and familiar with Brookfield viscometer.
