Provide practitioner support to the Interventional Cardiologist on call on Saturday and Sunday nights. Cover cardiac emergencies though the main campus and the six outlying campuses for patients that have no cardiologist. Provide a focused cardiologic assessment and management of patients with cardiogenic shock, NSTEMIs and STEMIs. Perform a history and physical, plan and initiate appropriate care (including sending the patient to the lab emergently), round and manage patients in the units for these MDs.
