Citi Payments Transformation Program’s objective is to migrate the current payments and collections services to a centralized payments hub. This will be accomplished by replacing the Unisys Legacy systems to a state-of-the-art payments hub platform using a middleware working as the enterprise service bus connecting to legacy systems and global initiatives.

Here Abinitio will be working as a FML(Financial Messaging Layer). It will be acting as a communication layer between Unisys(Minframe) system and GPP(Global Pay+).

For compliance with Basel II accord (for credit risk) Citigroup Private Bank(CPB) needs to capture information from its various credit and finance systems. This information is stored in the GWM repository, which was designed and created as part of this project. This repository is used to capture data from different source systems. The captured data will be enriched and reconciled. Provide feed to various upstream systems and act as a repository to the data for generating reports that are used by the source and target systems. GWM system is processing approximately 5,00,000 of records every month.
