Pharma Medica Research Centre: Placement work done on September 26 to November 12- 2021.

Work in different areas of the laboratory department with the supervision and guidance of unit supervisors such as influenza screening, drug dose administration, urine check, venipuncture, and ECG.

Perform and monitor the vital signs of clients.

Perform general clinical duties to prepare for the clinical studies such as tube labeling, bunk room preparation, workstation set up etc.

Perform venipuncture

Help supervisor to maintain inventory and order supplies as needed to keep lab adequately stocked.

Communicate with team and clients in a professional manner, such as explaining procedures to the clients, obtaining consent for procedures, active listening to their queries and concerns and coordinates to solve their problems.

Perform general cleaning duties such as decontaminating workstations and equipment such as centrifuges and fridges.

Properly complete documentation of clinical activities according to Standard of Practice -guidelines and under the supervision of a unit supervisor.
