Maintenance Consulting Service: Maintenance Specialist/Reliability Engineer
Assigned to create and install Maintenance Data Base (SAP) at Dyno Nobel Ammonia/Urea Plants in St Helens, Or; Donora, Pa; and Louisiana, Mo. This process involved reviewing all documentation for PRVs, Rotating and Stationery Equipment, Maintenance Practices, Job Scope and PSM and State Regulatory requirements to insure programs were properly entered in SAP to monitor and maintain the regulatory requirements and plant productivity and reliability. Reviewed and updated P&ID’s involving hands on inspection and verification of all equipment and Instrumentation.
Marathon Oil Refinery: FCO Coordinator and Turn-a-round Coordinator
Worked Marathon GME New Construction Project as Commissioning Coordinator, inspecting and documenting commissioning activities in Tank Farm, Docks and Coker Unit until December and then as Turnaround Coordinator and Small Capital Project Manager for 60 day turnaround.
Englobal Engineering: Senior Project Engineer
Created all SAP entries for BASF New Plant at Geismar site including Functional Locations, PMs, and Maintenance Equipment files and procedures. Created PSM documentation and files in SAP. I served as Startup Coordinator for the Project. After completion of this startup, I was assigned as SAP Trainer for new BASF acquisitions throughout the USA. Taught Maintenance and project modules for SAP/R3 to 18 different locations between May 07 and November 08.
BASF Corp.: PSM/Maintenance Coordinator (for Amines Dept.)
As Maintenance and PSM Coordinator, inspected and maintained all rotating and stationery equipment and monitored PM and PSM requirements, conducted equipment failure meetings and prepared all documentation. Reviewed all Mechanical Integrity and vibration reports for my six plants and scheduled recommended repairs and actions. Set up all equipment files and repair procedures and PM procedures and documentation using computer based systems. Worked continuously with operations management to train operators and technicians and monitored operational and repair activities to improve safety performance, equipment reliability and on stream availability. In this position I served as Maintenance Manager for two planners, two supervisors and 28 Maintenance and Instrumentation Technicians.

As the Production Superintendent I was responsible for the Cost effective and Safe Operation of the four Specialty Amines Production Units. I was the Team Leader of six production supervisors, supervised 15 Maintenance and 12 Instrument Technicians in various production facilities at the BASF Amines Facility.
US Navy: Nuclear Plant Operator
I served as a Reactor Operator aboard Nuclear Submarines. I left the service as E7 Chief Petty Officer after eight years to enter public job market.
