I matriculate in 1981 and immediately pursued my passion for photography; I started working for the Department of Water Affairs in their photographic department. Four years later I joined the photographic team of the Pretoria News, assisting in the darkroom and going on assignments.

Two years later I join a Financial Consultancy firm as assistant to the head of the Investment section, I took on this as an opportunity to gain useful knowledge in a completely different field.

With an opportunity of working overseas; for the next few years I assisted in raising funds internationally for projects situated mainly in Mozambique.

Moving to Australia, where on a contract basis I helped run an online diamond retail company. Completing a course in Practical Diamond Grading; I was mainly assigned to controlling of the diamond and jewellery stock to the three branches of the company. I was solely in charge of the Estate Jewellery section selling diamonds and jewellery on behalf of clients.

With my photographic background I have a keen interest in photographing inclusions in diamonds and have a fine and interesting collection of photos.

Returning to South Africa in December 2010, I helped set up the artwork and maintain the web-site for an Australian online diamond and jewellery company. I have since worked as a sales assistant at a retail jewellery store and a manufacturing jeweller as an office manager doing administrative work.

As a person I am a self motivated, reliable, and able to work unsupervised and under pressure.

My interest in photography has never waned; I love to do pencil sketching for leisure and have a keen interest in and practice Yoga and meditation for relaxation.
