ACTIVITIES
I am one of the groundbreaking members of Hearst’s diversity and inclusion initiative. Together with a very small team we created an internal facing site for employees of Hearst resourced materials so that they may educate themselves on diversity, inclusion, and related issues. I remain actively involved in the management of this team.
I am one of the core members of Hearst’s Volunteer Committee, offering colleagues a chance to give back. I have organized team building events where we have volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, NYC Food Bank, and even cleaned sites around Manhattan for the NYC Parks Dept. I continue to resource programs where assistance is needed. As the Digital Specialist I for the corporate department, I am responsible for creating all visual arts and presentations. I am currently working on creating a catalog of “How To” training series videos for the HCM team. These videos have proven to be a great resource for LMS Administrators, as well as with Learners navigating the LMS. I manage each of these productions, from start to finish.
