For 28 years, I have provided a diverse group of clients with event planning services. Clients have included individuals, civic groups, non-profit organizations and Fortune 1000 companies. I have interacted with brides and grooms for their event needs as well as CEO's of Fortune 1000 companies. These events are for groups as few as 10 to a group of 3,000. Client interaction includes in-person meetings, phone calls and emails. I create proposals for clients based on their desired budget and follow up within 3 days to answer any questions that the potential client may have. After successful negations of their RFP, I follow-up with a formal agreement for their signature and review. Continued consultation usually includes a site visit to the venue and meetings with multiple vendors coordinating a seamlessly coordinated event. Event planning task culminates with day of event delivery, set up, actual event and tear down. Following up wit the client a few days after the event to garner feedback and to thank them for their business. Besides the "back-of-house" preparation that incudes RFP's and continual correspondence, other duties include business development that includes sales calls, participation in local networking groups, social media marketing, etc...
