** *** *** ************ **** Photographer based in Chandigarh. Having 18 yrs. Experience in various fields of news photography and Cricket Photography in particular. Presently working as Principal Photographer with Hindustan Times Chandigarh.

Experience:

After gaining Diploma in Photography from Govt. Industrial Training Institute, Mandi (HP) and Diploma from HIMCON, Shimla I started my career in News Photography with 'Dainik Bhaskar' as Staff Photographer in 2000. After two years I joined English daily “The Tribune” as stringer photographer and started contribute photographs with “Press Trust of India”. Since then I was covered all activities in and around Shimla and Himachal Pradesh for them. My photographs have been published in The Tribune, India Today and Outlook magazines. I also contributed photographs to agencies like AP, AFP, Reuters and UNI. Some of my photographs you can see on Google Images.

I covered the "India v/s Pak" practice match in Dharamshala (HP) and 2 One Day International (ODIs) matches between "India v/s Sri Lanka" in Rajkot and Vadodara (Gujarat) during November 2005.

I covered India’s first 20-20 cricket series ICL cup in 2007 at Panchkula as Official Photographer.

I covered IPL T20 cup in 2011 as BCCI official Photographer.

I covered IPL T20 cup 2018 for Hindustan Times Chandigarh

Within last 15 years I have covered various activities like interviews of VIPs, press conference of VVIP, sports personalities and politicians, festivals of Himachal, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh, major political rallies of PM, etc. I have covered entire Loksabha elections-2004, 2009 and 2014 and Himachal Vidhan Sabha Elections-2003, 2007 and 2012, swearing ceremony of Cabinet and Assembly.
