Bonny Terminal Maintenance Integrity Team Leader

Responsible for leading a team of Nigerian nationals in on-going asset integrity inspection and maintenance program on large floating roof crude oil tanks terminal; gas plants; pressure vessels, piping; safety valves; lifting equipment.

Responsible for inspection of all mechanical components of Refinery, LNG, Methanol, Ammonia, Urea, Sea water Desalination, Power Plants, Training Center Pilot Plants; Fields and Transfer Lines Projects and Tanks Farms. Conducted routine on-stream break down and shut down inspection coverage of the complex; Responsible for the non-destructive testing techniques interpretation and report writing. Planned and organized pre-commissioning inspections and approval criteria; advised on rectification, renewal or repair on equipment and piping found to have mechanical corrosion or metallurgical failure; issued and implemented repair procedures (inclusive welding procedures) according to findings of visual inspection and NDT inspection; Supervised equipment and piping hydrostatic inspection tests after repairs, writing of reports to higher management on the condition of vital equipment of the complex; supervised welder and procedure qualification tests per ASME Section IX, API 1104, etc.; maintained plant inspection records and inspection schedules; petrochemical projects control and approval. No appreciable downtime or catastrophic equipment failure occurred during my service at the complex.

Plant Commissioning and Starting-up Specialist

Responsible for equipment and piping inspection, repair procedures and certification of all important components of Chlorine, Ethylene, VCM, PVC, LDPE, HDPE, Utilities, Power Plants and Tanks Farm during plants commissioning and starting-up. Immediately after starting-up, the plants reached all project performance objectives.
