Operations Supervisor – UPS Freight Inc. 05/2017 to 10/2020 (full-time)

As the Outbound Supervisor for UPS Freight in both Cumberland MD and Hagerstown MD, I am responsible for a wide variety of tasks that are essential for maintaining daily operations at both terminals. Being cross trained at every role in the facilities, I was utilized for coverage as needed and responsible for my role as a Supervisor as well.
Duties include:
-Access Microsoft Excel to record Fly Sheets (Driver Hours from previous day).
-Access KQI (Key Quality) record shortages, damages, and loading employee that was responsible for loading freight and movement bill.
-Track shipments on the Key Quality Report.
-Access Seas Audits (audits on loaded trailers that were loaded at the Cumberland Terminal and arrived at another destination).
-Record audits in Seas Tracker, obtain images through on base and file a report and place a hard copy in Seas Binder.
-Access dispatch and print daily drivers pick-up and deliveries and record stops per hour, and plan the daily operations in regard to planning the daily city/local pick-ups and deliveries as well as project the amount of time it will take for each driver etc.
-Log hours for all employees including Clerks, Dock Workers, Drivers, etc.
-Perform daily yard check and once verified print and file said check.
-Ensure Driver Trip Cards are filled out properly and filed.
-Print all movement copy bills for inbound freight and plan outbound destinations per movement bill.
-Set up the dock with manifests verifying each trailer is loaded with the correct freight.
-Supervise all dock employees.
-Train new employees on forklift operation, loading and line haul trucks, using left deck trailers, dock and coaching techniques.
-Verify “bring back freight” and code them accordingly along with justification into the electronic database system.

Administrative Operations Clerk (III) – UPS Freight Inc. 05/2012 to 05/2017 (part-time)

As an Administrative Operations Clerk for UPS Freight in Cumberland MD, I was responsible for answering customer inquiries, processing bills as well as other paperwork, and following proper procedures and company regulations concerning overages, shortages, damages, claims, and tracking freight at a terminal that processes on average over 240 Bill of Lading’s (BOL’s) a day. In addition I perform various other duties as assigned to me by both my immediate supervisor as well as the terminal manager, and I’m also the Women’s Leadership & Development (WLD) Coordinator for the terminal.
Duties include:
-Review invoices and perform quality control checks to ensure that all information is reflected accurately and properly depicts products and services.
-Assist both central and local dispatch offices in all aspects of management involving load schedules.
-Answer customer inquiries in a customer service capacity in regard to rate quotes and appointments, etc.
-Perform data entry functions such as keying bills from manifest and submitting daily exception reports as well as key quality indicator reports for damaged shipments to management.
-Assist Outbound Supervisor on a vast variety of tasks which include: dispatching both city and linehaul drivers as well as managing and implementing actions plans, load average, cube utilization and service targets.
-Operate OOPS Computer Application to view/track trailer information.
-Collect data and submit fuel reports via fax to Regional Headquarters in Lexington, KY.
-Adhere to all company safety rules in compliance with OSHA Regulations when performing all job duties including and not limited to assisting dock workers load/unload trailers as needed.
-Assist Central Dispatch in the development of linehaul plans to effectively and efficiently transport freight to specific destinations.

Assistant Supervisory General Manager - Covey Promotions, LLC 09/2006 to 06/2016 (part-time)

I was the Assistant Supervisory General Manager of a professional wrestling promotion/company. I assisted the Owner/General Manager in all areas of the company including: Financing/Budgeting, Staffing/Recruiting, Scheduling, Filming, Safety, and Logistics. This particular company produced and coordinated 10 to 12 Live Events per year drawing 250 to 500 people in attendance on average for said events, and a local 60 minute weekly episodic television show that aired and was available in 1.3 Million homes every week via Dish Network & Local Cable Providers in the Greater Washington DC Metro Area which is the #9 Ranked Television Market in the United States.
