GE Power, India Lead Engineer Mar 2020 - Till date

Actively been a part of the Mechanical Steam path Global Team by showcasing responsibility towards preparing steam path drawing, generating project specific 3D model and releasing manufacturing documentation (Test Protocol, specification) for Turbine Blading and Blade Path.

Analyzing the factory non conformities such as casting defects, machining error and providing disposition. Support for material substitution request (MSR) and manufacturing Change Request (MCR)

Responsible for supporting the factory, site erection team for persuading the customer during any major non-conformance

Take the lead for implementing GE TIL (blading scope) across Indian fleet.

GE Power Project Lead Mar 2018 – Feb 2020

Assigned as Project Lead (Turbine design) for Godda (800MW).

Scope of work includes

Understanding of contracts (Turbine scope) & identify OEM deviation.

Preparing customer documentation as per MDL and submit to customer for approval

Design, prepare model/drawing/documents & release Production Order to factory and SCM

Attend interface meeting with Thermo, Blading, Piping & Arrangement, C& I team

Participate design review meeting to get the approval of the customer specific modification.

GE Power (Alstom India Ltd.) India Lead Engineer Mar 2008 – Feb 2020

Designing Steam Turbine Rotor (Mono Block & Welded) Forging & Machining model and prepare 2D drawing as per GE standard and customer specification.

Updating Inner and Outer Casing of the turbine 3D Model & 2D drawing as per customer specification & other interface and release production order to factory for procuring materials & manufacturing the components

Prepared presentations, supported documents to discuss with the customers for critical NCRs

Ensured timely submission of technical documents relevant to studies, performed supply & execution as per contractual clauses and getting the approval from the clients on a timely basis

Developed disassembly/ reassembly manual of turbines, valves and bearing pedestals

Prepare illustrated Parts List for spare parts
