MPE OPERATOR, WORLD FINEST CHOCOLATE INC.
Responsible for operation of two machines, (Cordial Enrober). Cleaning of magnets and filters. Starting the Enrober daily. Making adjustments to the temper unit so that we have the right temperature at all times. Take all broken Cordials off line when problems persist. Login how many cherries are being used throughout the day. Maintain proper weights. Making any and all adjustments to the size of Cordials. Tagging all problematic issues in the red zone. Maintain a clean and safe work environment for this station. Working well with my peers as well as my Supervisors.
Responsible for operation of the (Wafer Enrober Machine). This Job function entitles magnets and filters to be cleaned. Pre-heating chocolate for 35 minutes daily. Start up Enrober and pump out the hot chocolate. Make adjustments to the temper unit to get an accurate temp reading. Login and tag all problematic issues to the red zone. Keep track of wafers before and after each shift. Unjam broken wafers from the cutter. Take all bad or broken products (wafers) off the feeding table. Make adjustments to detail rods and bottomers/height/weight of wafers. Preheat chocolate and shut down at the end of shift, putting the machine in night mode. End of day, making sure that the work station is clean and sanitized. SEPTEMBER/2015 – PRESENT
MACHINE OPERATOR, WORLD FINEST CHOCOLATE INC.
Responsible for the operation of four machines, (F44 Machine). Verifying that once arriving that this machine is properly cleaned and ready for use. Checking the cordial conveyor, tray conveyor, especially making sure that there are no build ups on the flights of the tray conveyor. Turning on each section of the F44 so the system is ready to receive products. Making sure the tray denester has an adequate amount of trays. Making sure the tray is fully supplied at all times. Correct all problems if any persist. Robot arms or sections defaulted or not operating, if these problems occur, notify Enrober Operator of excessive defects with products. Notify Packaging Lead, and Maintenance Staff of any other conditions that may hamper the performance that is outside of our control. At the end of business day, turn off all sections of the F44. Notify Packaging Lead and Maintenance, and Supervisors of any specific issues that may need to be addressed once shift is done. Clean and sanitized work area. Tray Sealer (Machine), Start and turn on Tray sealer. Turn on Conveyors. Check the heat roller temperature. Make sure conveyors are working. Make sure the right film is available at all times. Watch for any jams. Change film when necessary. Remove trays when products are open or seals are damaged. Remove trays with missing cordial from conveyors. Ensure the trays are equally distributed between the two conveyors. Place hand packed trays on conveyors when available. Remove all debris from the line. Put the machine on stand by for 20 minutes when down. Logged down time in the Tray Sealer log. Inform Leads when problems have occurred. Tag all problematic issues in the red zone. Shutting down at the end of the day, turn the tray sealer off. Turn the conveyor off. Clean and sanitized work area. End shift in red zone.
Yeaman (Machine), turning on all conveyors. Assure proper code. Making sure best by dates are correct. Start Yeaman, press reset until all lights are green, then hit start. Remove all damaged and under weight trays from the line. Feed good trays back to Yeaman that were rejected due to a jam. Manage glue pot, and remove build up on rails. Unjam any overhead jams. Pack any loose cordials that have fallen from F44. Tag all issues in the red zone. Change code and best date for second shift. Troubleshoot any problems to Management. Logged out of redzone for 1st shift. Clean and sanitized area. Wafer Line Wrapper (Machine), Turn on machine. Assure that code date, and best by dates are correct. Change and rethread film when necessary. If any problems persist, inform our Line Lead of machine problems. Take off all broken products off the conveyor belt. Tag all issues in red zone. Clean and sanitized all areas of the work station. CERTIFICATION
