Under the supervision of the Senior Vice-President of Operational Services, I oversaw recruiting, officer performance reviews, and direct operations for the Safety and Security Department, managing a team of thirty-three members with an annual budget of $1.4 million. Spearheaded the security operations during the Covid-19 pandemic to mitigate operational challenges that meet CDC requirements while maintaining normal operations for the community and local businesses. Directly involved in the standard daily patrol procedures, crime prevention, loss prevention, and participated in community policing activities by interacting with the public and management programs. I oversaw the daily operations and interacted with senior leadership regularly. I also maintained the unit's database, managed payroll, coached fourteen (14) ambassadors in customer service, and maintained their annual evaluations.
