By Land, By Sea is the national magazine for Clan Donald USA and is published biannually. I work with our graphic designer to choose the slants and themes for each issue then edit incoming pieces from contributors worldwide. I also write articles on Scottish history with a slant towards Clan Donald ties. Create brochures, handouts, information boards for clan tents to use at games and events. Insure deadlines are met, and find filler when needed.

Have grown readership by 47%. Improved visual quality and context of magazine while decreasing production costs.

AM radio market was older, more talk heavy so interviewing was done more in the studio with local personalities. FM radio younger market, less political news, more interest items, weather, and sports.
