As a senior mortgage processor, I process conventional, FHA,VA and USDA mortgages to client specific guidelines. Within two weeks of being hired, I suggested company implementation of several procedures which help with processing times and improved communications between processors and loan officers. Volume has been in excess of 35 loans per month.

Contract Underwriter, Processor and Fraud Investigator

Various 2007 to 2015

As an independent contractor, my positions have consisted of processing for a national builder’s mortgage company, various wholesalers and retailers. I processed FHA, VA and conventional loans amidst the changing guidelines and underwrote FNMA/FHLMC and FHA loans. In addition, I contracted for fraud inspection services providing extensive research and court testimonials. DE certified.

Senior Residential Mortgage Underwriter

MGIC/Great Southwest Mortgage, Scottsdale, AZ 1998 to 2007

Working with AUS and traditional manual underwriting, I was responsible for assuring investor compliance for conforming and niche loans. During peak times, I was underwriting up to 300 loans a month. In addition, I trained loan officers and loan processors on new products and made sales calls to REALTORS® to promote our services. I helped take this company from just 20 employees to over 300 branches nationwide by implementing a 24 hour review time for all files to provide service well above any competition.

Previous experiences include underwriting, processing, originating both wholesale and retail mortgages as well as being a corporate trainer.
