EPIC of Integrated Oily water/sludge handling system:

Construction of fire protection system/modification for Crude Oil Manifold system, surge tank area & produced water system. Operating, Control & safeguarding philosophy of drain system, produced/formation water system and sludge mitigation & handling system and etc.

EPIC of Low Pressure Associated Gas Compressor Facilities:

Design philosophy of the project: To achieve zero flaring of the low pressure TOTAL gas. To reduce the current environmental pollution due to the burning of the sour fuel gas coming from PS-2 Platform. Blending sweet TEPQ (Total Exploration and Production Qatar) wet gas and sour PS-2 dry gas in order to improve the gas turbines life-span. All available sweet gas will be used for blending which shall be supplemented by drawing sour gas from PS2.

Foundations for the LP Gas Compressor A-5052 @ TEPQ, LP Condensate pumps, A5052 P1 A/B, Two units of FGTP A-5050 & A-5051– both suitable for sweet and sour gas service located towards north of Phase I & II Turbine areas. On-line mixer N-5002 and Buffer vessel V-5096 for blending the treated sweet and sour gas.

EPIC of Crude Oil Import/Export upgrade facilities and beach landing facilities:

Operating and control philosophy: The crude oil system comprises of pig receivers for the sub-sea pipelines from Off-shore fields (Namely PS-1, PS-2, PS-3 and Al-Khalij) and Single Buoy Moorings (SBM-1 and SBM-2) for routing the crude oil received to wet crude oil storage tanks T5001 to T5005 in the South Tank farm. Following dehydration, the crude oil is then pumped (transferred) to six dehydrated crude oil storage export tanks T5006 to 5009 and T5050/5051 in the North Tank farm.

The crude Oil in the export tanks is pumped to two SBMs using the existing EVSD pumps and four new EVSD pumps.

EPIC of Desalination Plant & Potable water storage tanks at Halul Island:

Design philosophy of the project: The new desalination plant is designed to produce 2,400 m3/d of potable water from seawater by using reverse osmosis technology. The RO (Reverse Osmosis) process comprises of construction of the following elements.

Sea water intake and brine outfall, Intake pumping stations feeding the new desalination plant, New desalination plant (including pre-treatment and RO units), Tanks and associated pumping stations within the new desalination plant (pumping stations to and from existing potable storage tanks and pumping station to supply Total Exploration Qatar-TEPQ), Chemical dosing facilities associated to the intake, pre-treatment and potabilization of RO permeate produced, New potable water storage tanks (2500 Cum/each), associated pumping stations and piping network, Wastewater and sludge treatment facilities.

EPIC of 33/11 kv Power Distribution Substation:

Construction of 33/11 kv PDS building with all associated cable trenches, cable cellars, Transformer foundations, HV/LV equipment foundations, road crossings and other associated finishing works. Interface coordination with the construction team of sub-sea power cable project (Ras-Laffan to Halul)/132 kv substation building at Halul

EPIC of CCTV/PAGA and Access Control Systems:

The project involves the installation of a fully functional state of the art closed circuit television (CCTV) system, public address/general alarm (PA/GA), access control system (ACS) and intrusion detection system (IDS) together with integration of the new systems to form one electronic security system (ESS) which will be interfaced with the existing QPinformation technology server for communication to QP’s Doha central security center.

EPIC of Diesel dispensing /bunkering and associated facilities at Halul Island:

Construction of diesel dispensing/bunkering facilities, including construction of new diesel storage tank with automation stock control methodology. Optimization of associated facilities such as fire protection and other safety system in particular for the diesel storage tanks & ancillaries.

Infrastructure Project: Construction of Integrated Chiller, Freezer, Laundry, Dining& Accommodation facilities for 600 bed accommodation complex (Halul Island):

The 600 bed accommodation complex project on the Halul Island involves the construction of 4 accommodation blocks, chiller, freezer, dining/mess/multipurpose hall facilities, administration block, laundry block, supermarket, HV/LV substations/transformer units, pump house/water tank, septic tank and sports facilities etc.,

The infrastructure project on the Halul Island involves the construction of Office block, marine stores, workshops/warehouses, compressor/gas cylinder storage facilities, blasting and painting booth, shoreline protection works and etc. that could cater additional Offshore Industrial facilities.

Infrastructure Project : Construction of New Security Building/Telecom building complex including the North Ring Road of Halul Island:

New security building complex is a G+3 storied building with many facilities like sub-station building and an armory building, external service yard building and the connecting Heliport, access/internal roads, land scarping, fencing and other external works.

New Telecom Building with the following support facilities: This is a G+2 storeyed building with car parking and external pump room and diesel generator set.

Common Cooling Sea Water Project (CCWP, Ph-2, Category 1 & 2)-Project value USD 1.30 Billion

The Overview of the project: The $ 955 million CCWP / PH-2 Category-1, (EPIC) project is based on a combination of “Once through” and “Recirculation system” providing cooling water to the various consumers including Qatar Gas-LNG 1, Ras Gas-LNG 2&Q-Power.

Working as a team member for the overall Construction supervision of all the on-going site activities of nearly 590,000 Cum of RCC works, 40,000 MT of Rebar, 15000 MT of structural steel in various areas including Piling works (1258 piles), Construction of Intake areas, Cofferdams, Intake Pump Houses (2 pump houses with 18 pumps), Manifolds, Distribution & Collection of Piping System (78 km GRE pipeline with an average of 3000 mm dia.) and Related Auxiliary, ancillary facilities/Buildings as follows.

Electro-chlorination building, Control building, VSDS buildings (2 nos.), Operations Building, LLCC buildings (5 nos.), Substations/220 kv building, 33 kv building, 33 kv electrical Switchgear building, workshop & Warehouse structures (2 nos.), Gate houses and etc.

Responsible for the overall Construction Supervision of all the on-going site activities in various areas as listed below:-

Construction and coordination for the foundations of 48” & 36” Hot-tap tie-ins with the existing Gasco Facilities. Construction of 48" Pipeline (subkha areas, non-subkha areas &high water table areas) and the relevant berm construction up to the tie-in point with the existing Pipeline.

Construction of Anchor Blocks, Valve Pits, LLCC building, Operations Building, Administration Building, Warehouses and Gate houses.

Construction of foundations (pre-cast & in-situ) for Gas Heaters, Instrument air, Metering Skid, Emergency generator, Pressure Reduction Skid, Inlet Filters, Cold Vent stack, HIPPS valves, Access Platform, crossovers, sleepers, pre-cast wall panels and many other miscellaneous pipe supports.

Working as a team member for site visits, site measurements and coordinating with the survey sub-Contractors (Topographical & Geotechnical) for the EGDS project.

Involved in the preparation and checking of Pipeline Alignment sheets, pipeline corridors, Civil/structural detail drawings including, pipe supports, tie-in concrete pits, access platforms, crossovers, block valve stations, Control Room/ Operations Building, Administration Building & Workshop/Warehouse building etc.

Jebel Dhanna Tank Farm upgradation, ADCO-Abudhabi(Year 2003- 2004)

Preparation of FEED package for the additional tank farm at Jebel dhanna.

Preparation of Project Scope, Site survey/measurements in coordination with the survey/sub-Contractors.

Checking of project/master drawings, MTO’s and also involved in the preparation of Engineering Dossier for the construction package and also coordinating with inter disciplines, ADCO & sub-contractors. Site survey in coordination with survey contractors includes, carrying out various tests on the existing concrete structures (Concrete strength, chlorination test, cement content test and degree of corrosion to the existing rebar in the RC structures etc.) for the assessment of the integrity of the structure, and accordingly advise ADCO with the remedial actions to be carried out for the existing structures.

All the works have been carried out in accordance with company’s QA/QC & HSE policies.

June 2001-November 2003:

Off-shore Projects:

Supporting the lead Civil Engineer for Engineering, Procurement assistance, coordination with Fabrication yard, load out/Transportation & installation of the Off-shore Jackets (15 Nos.), Decks (7 Nos.) & LQ modules (2 nos.) for M/s NPCC, for Saudi Aramco project.

Coordinated for Engineering, Procurement assistance, Fabrication & installation/modification requirements for the Derric Lay Barge for Valentine Maritime Gulf Ltd, Abudhabi for the (Off-shore) subsea pipeline construction of Adani port Project.

Coordinated for the modifications of the Off-shore supply base facilities for ADNOC, Abudhabi, including the preparation of shop drawings, procurement assistance & construction supervision.

ADCO projects:

Involved in the detail engineering & construction supervision of modifications at ASAB Petrol Station.

Coordinated for detail engineering services and construction supervision of foundation for compressor & cooler for vapor recovery project for M/s Worley. Involved in the Terms Of Reference (TOR) dossier preparation for Bab field master drawings updation project.

ADGAS Projects:

Coordinated for detailed Engineering, procurement assistance and Construction supervision (EPCM) for addition of 3rd MECO PUMP at Das Island including detailed survey, as-builting and retrofit involving all disciplines, Civil / structural/ Rotating Equipment / Instruments and Controls / Electrical, QA/QC etc. The pump has a capacity of 60 Cum/hr at discharge pressure of 72 barg and installed with stainless steel piping system.

Involved in the modification of LNG plant Access platforms, including site measurements, preparation & checking of shop drawings, MTOs and coordination with the Client at Das Island. Underwent for safety training at ADGAS, Das Island.

All the works have been carried out in accordance with company’s QA/QC & HSE policies.

Takreer/ABB Project: Ruwais Refinery Expansion Project (General Utilities Plant)-Ruwais

Worked as Field/Engineering Coordinator for General utilities Plant (Ruwais Refinery expansion project) coordinating with the Vendors, Main/sub-Contractors & with the Client for the preparation of redline mark-ups & as-built drawings, handing-over of final dossier & close-out of the
