Created requirements analysis and data mappings for migration of legacy system

components in areas of reporting, customer service reporting and explanation of

benefits for customers to facilitate the initial implementation of the Trizetto Facets

System over the course of two years.

Created reports on the initial implementation of Facets using TOAD and PL/SQL to

verify the accuracy of data stored in the Trizetto Facets Tables over the course of

one year while the Facets system was in beta testing.

Created infrastructure for transporting data on in-house servers using

CommCentral MoveIt Client. Trained additional personnel in the use and

administration of MoveIt server and scripts.

Liason between in-house development teams and operations teams regarding

issues related to the transport of data using CommCentral MoveIt.

Identified additional requirements for functionality to be added to the new

distributed system in the areas of reporting, patient matching, explanation

of benefits processing and customer service reporting.

Modified legacy batch and online systems to take advantage of DB2 table

functionality, improving online transaction performance, reducing batch

processing window and improving application recovery.

Improved patient matching by creating a new subprogram that raised the match rate

from 75 percentile to 98 percentile. This routine became the standard call program

used for all batch and online applications required to patient match on the legacy

Benefit Electronic Network system.

Reduced expense of printing checks and explanation of benefits by 300 thousand

per year by stripping inhouse transactions to files that would be subsequently posted

to in-house ledger accounts and reported on as opposed to being processed in batch

and printed on checks and explanation of benefits and then posted and reported on.

Completed many in house classes on products, services, technologies and

compliance law (HIPPA, SOX) used to support our healthcare customers.

Applied new knowledge to all aspects of project work.

Worked with DB2 Administrators to create Member Matching, Mass Deletes,

Mass Changes and Mass Inserts in the test environments for the purpose of

testing possible changes and impacts to the production environment.
