Provide direct supervision to assigned unit management staff and serve as the chairperson of designated committees, to conduct rounds of all housing areas occupied by inmates under their supervision, rounds to be conducted on a daily basis during periods when inmates are likely to have access to the unit manager, observe living conditions of inmates, provide guidance to officers, and listen to and resolve issues from inmates and staff. Maintain ongoing communication with 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift supervisors, correction officers assigned to their unit, as well as work and education supervisors. Receive input from shift supervisors, are responsible for completing all performance evaluations on
