Network Cyber Operations - 2014-03 – Present /Pay grade E5/ SSgt o Installed network hardware (Cisco ASA, Routers, Switches, Palo Alto firewalls), Copper cable termination and Fiber Optics cabling.
o Troubleshot various enterprise technologies including: IPv4 routing and switch, VoIP and VTC suites. Implemented network monitoring and security technologies such as ACLs, Access Control Servers (ACS), Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco ASA (VPN only), MRV, wire shark, Cisco Prime and Solarwinds. o Managed the Air Force network boundary and the Peterson Space Force Base Regional Data Center, which housed two Cisco 9000k series routers that supported communications for over 1.3 million users globally.
o Designed network topologies using “Visio” creator tools in conjunction with subnetting our own private IP space. I led a small team of technicians to stand up remote sites connected via IPsec tunnels while collaborating with DISA on designated long-haul circuits.
o Managed plans and operations of the network infrastructure shop. Preformed site surveys to install, remove and repair network infrastructure for a large government campus of 7 building and around 2000 employees.
o Developed road maps and timelines for the implementation of tech requirements such as: re cabling projects, end of life tech refreshes, and service provider equipment relocation. o Created network diagrams for each building in our campus and configured access switches for expandability.
