RESPONSIBILITIES :

Coordination, Supervision & Execution of QA/QC activities in Construction Projects

Details Study of Quality Requirements for the project.

Detail study of Piping Isometric Drawings, Weld Maps and Structural fabrication drawings for preparing Welding requirements and WPS Register.

Preparing & updating the Calibration list of the items involved in Welding.

Preparation of Project Welding Consumable Requirements, Batch certificates Review and Daily Consumables issue Control.

Preparation of WPS & Conducting Procedure Qualification Test ASME SEC-IX.

Conducting Welder Qualification Test.

Monitoring Welders and Welding process Quality by Parameters and practice checks during and after welding for SAW, SMAW & GTAW welding.

Material test certificates review for Piping, Structural Fabrication works.

Perform Heat No, Marking Verification, Dimensional Checks, Thickness, PMI, hardness verification of Incoming Materials.

Ensure cutting activities are performed as per requirements.

Regular Monitoring of Weld repair rate for each welder & Training of Welders.

Perform Weld visual inspections as per WPS requirements and drawing requirements.

Perform Dimension Check of Finished products a as per the drawing requirements.

Coordinating with NDT for covering project requirements.

Witness of DPT, MPT, UT of Weld joints.

Interpretation of Radiographic Films and review of reports.

Verifying Preheat temperatures, Inter pass temperature maintenance, Post heating of welding activities.

Review of PWHT Charts.

Witness of PMI, Ferrite testing and hardness testing as per the project requirements.

Preparing reports for all welding activities like, fit-up, weld visual and dimensional inspection, weld repair rate report, weekly weld report, weld summary report, weld tracking report, positive material identification (PMI) report and Hardness report.

Preparing all welding documents for hydro test package like summary report, NDT report, all checklists, weld map etc.

Witness of Shop Fabricated Spools and Completed piping system hydro test as per project requirements.

Documentation of all quality records.

Preparation of QC weekly & monthly reports and Attending QC meetings.

Responsible for the preparation and submission of final hand over documents as per project specification.
