Summary of Qualifications

Over Twenty five years’ experience in Mainframe business application systems environments, including both development and maintenance projects as project leader, technical lead and programmer analyst. I have worked with users developing project specifications using SDLC protocols and have developed implementation and testing strategies. The project involved migrating data for the Customer Billing system from a DL1 mainframe database to a DEC.RDB Database on PC VAX.

Project leader responsibilities included liaison with users for the development of specifications, development of testing and implementation strategies, and the development and implementation of data cleansing requirements.

Used Panvalet for source control and as text editor.

The finished system comprised approximately 125 COBOL II and EASYTRIEVE Plus programs to edit, filter, massage and reformat data and write to files to be transferred.

Files were created on the mainframe side in display format, one file for each table on the DEC.RDB.
