QUALIFICATIONS:

-Machine Shop Work for five years in one machine shop using the Lathe, Milling, Surface Grinder, Drill Press and the Brushing machine. Knowledge in the use of calipers of all kinds.

-Mechanic Field Twenty years as industrial mechanic using: Acetylene Torch, Plasma Cutter, Electric Welders (Arc, Mig, and Tig.) on all the positions. Change of bearings with no damage on shaft or housing. Learned about hydraulic and pneumatic systems too.

-HVAC Systems One-year experience recovering and changing the R-134a gas in cars and some small air conditioning systems, with some walk-in areas too.

-Electrical Field is where I've been more applied lately (twenty years). Working with PLC-Controllers (Allen Bradley 500 and GE-Fanuc) Control Relays, Motor Contactors, DC-Drives, DC-Motors, AC-Inverters, AC-Motors, Encoders and Tachometers. Fluke Multimeters (as other brand names) with Amp-Probes too. Basic electric circuits as electric outlets, fluorescent and halogen lamps; are part of my knowledge as well.

-Mechatronic Field. Is where I been using my electronic knowledge more often. This because is more related it to the servo motors and the stepper motors, with electronic signals as photo-eye sensors, proximities sensors and encoders, as well as tachometers and potentiometers.

-Vision System. Working with the “Cognex” brand on different shapes and forms to identify the products as well as missing parts. Also, to check the serial numbers with bars and real numbers. With letters (or numbers) on top of the pieces to be checked.

-Electronic Field the learning in electronics, helps me more in the understanding of how electrical devices work in conjunction with mechanical parts, inside of the machine functions. This is a great advantage at the moment of solving troubles in the machines. Frequency Converters, Op-Amps Transistors (Common Emitter, Common Collector and Common Base) are only some of the electronic devices in my repertory. Learned how Signal Generator and Oscilloscope works, makes the understanding of the function in Servo Motors and Encoders much easier. I learned in the school the difference between Frequency Modulated and Amplitude Modulated Voltages and to work with electronic parts at the board level.

WORK HISTORY:

From: 6/25/2016 to 12/31/2021. Supervisor: Raul Pinon. 575-***-****.

- GEORGIA PACIFIC. 7 Kitty Hawk Boulevard, Santa Teresa, NM. 88008.

My duties here were to maintain running a Corrugator machine running the 24/5. This machine is a multiple assembly machine with multiple stations. Starting with roll stands, splicers, single facers, E&L, glue station, double backer, slitter/score, cut-off knife (top and bottom), conveyors and stackers. All these machines work with gearboxes and servo motor drives, photo-eye sensors, proximity sensors, speed calculations and multiple HMI touch screens. One of my greatest achievements in this plant was to make it ran from 600 ft/min to 800 ft/min. All this just because we modified the cooling system in the cut-off knife.

From 08/01/2010 to 06/18/2016 Supervisor: Ramon Saenz 915-***-**** ext.226

-INTERNATIONAL WIRE. 1700 Commerce Park Dr. El Paso, TX. 79912

My duties were repair and maintain multi-wire machines; Lesmo, Beakert, and Kinrei bunchers. Changing and repairing gear box, electric motors, as well as mechanic parts. Troubleshooting electrical problems in DC-motors, DC-drives, AC-drives, AC-motors and AC-inverters. I used software as Allen Bradley and GE-Fanuc to change, add or troubleshoot “PLC” programs. At the moment they add me to the teamwork of maintenance, production operators couldn't drop a complete full reel of cooper from more than half of the buncher machines. Thanks to the understanding of basic electronics and in the function purposes of these machines (talking about every single component, upon mechanical and electrical) we finally made them work as they supposed to. Also, other machine in this industry is the Samp Multi-wires that works in perfect synchronization between capstan sheaves, that are pulling the cooper wire to elongate it and reduce its diameter.

From 10/30/2007 to 07/30/2010 Supervisor: Bob Helms 915-***-****

-AMERICAN EAGLE BRICK 1000 Brickland Road. Sunland Park, NM. 88063

Our duties in this company were to rewire all motors and control boxes, running conduits for electrical, air and hydraulic purposes. Modification made by the plant manager (owner) “George Cudahy” in all the production line during the eight-month period of the shot-down. After this, we made preventive and predictive maintenance with many welding structures.

From 07/31/2007 to 10/13/2007 Supervisor: Clint Townsend. 505-***-**** ext.193

-BORDER FOOD INC. 4065 J Street, SE. Deming, NM. 88030

My duties during these three months (contract) were to rebuild three auto-packer machines. These machines were down without work for more than two years and I had the responsibility to make them work again. We change all necessary parts and make also the necessary changes in the PLC program to allow these machines run in the new area, of the green chili production line. Packing the green chilies into cans of 7.0 oz.

From 06/02/2005 to 07/15/2007 Supervisor: Juan Rodriguez. 915-***-****

-DAMONT INC. 8555 Yermonland Dr. El Paso, TX. 79907

My duties in this design shop were build up the automated machines that have been made in the machine shop. Putting all parts together (mechanical and electrical parts) using drawings and electrical schematics, made it by the engineering department. All the wiring in the electrical panels, between sensors, air valves solenoids and motors; were made it by me in the shop. The most exciting part of this job was helping the engineer with the configuration of the PLC-components and some basic programming in the lather logic.

From 03/22/1999 to 05/01/2005 Supervisor: Lyman Jerome 915-***-**** ext.226

-INTERNATIONAL WIRE 1700 Commerce Park Dr. El Paso, TX. 79912

My duties were repair and maintain multi-wire machines, lesmo, bekaert and kinrei bunchers. Changing and repairing gear box, electric motors, as well as mechanical parts, troubleshooting electrical problems in DC-motors, DC-drives, AC-motors and AC-inverters. I used software as Allen Bradley and GE-Fanuc to change, add, load or upload “PLC” programs.

From 01/03/1995 to 11/04/1998 Supervisor: Antonio Ordoñez 915-***-****

-ROCKWELL INTERNATIONAL 6 Butterfield Trail, El Paso, TX. 79906

My duties were to repair and maintain Hewlett Packard test machines 6035 and 7030, with different vacuum adapters that we use to check electronic boards. We made the setups in these adapters changing or adding parts inside of the desk-top computers, like hard drives, parallel ports, serial ports or video cards. Also, knowledge of automation machines using servo motors and stepper motors like “Fuji-assembly lines” and “Insertion Machines” for electronic parts.
