• Assists patients in all aspects of personal care, medical care, light domestic duties, and general day -to-day tasks.
• Accompany patients to and fro ward areas.
• Assists the Nurses on pre-surgery procedures, preparing patients to be shifted to the operation theater for required procedures, as well as shifting them to Post-Anesthesia Care Unit PACU after the procedures for observations, then back to the recovery room for post-operative supervision.
• Care for older patients to do personal activities like cleaning, bathing, changing dresses, and feeding.
• Educating and advising patients about their health and meeting their needs in personal hygiene and serving them nutritious meals.
• Help the patients to get medicines as prescribed by the medical practitioner from the pharmacy.
• Assisting them in doing general exercises by walking around if it’s advisable.

• Assists the nurses at the emergency counter in transferring patients from the ambulance to the emergency room for treatments and observations.
• Shifting of patients from ER to intensive care unit ICU or cathe lab for more treatment and procedures as instructed by the doctor.
