Each day I try to set at least one goal for myself whether it’s to complete all my errands that needs to be done or to complete a task I’ve had for a while or needed to get it taken care of. Recruiting Agent/ Scheduler Insurance Marketing Strategies Orem, Utah Contacted licensed Life Insurance Agents State wide providing them with information about the company and scheduled them to attend their online Webinars. Webinars provided the agents with company info and provided info on how to get signed up with the company. Scheduled the webinars, completed follow ups on who attended, which agents needed to reschedule, assisted the agents that wanted to sign up with company. Provided all needed information to the Marketing Director to get the agents set up.

Legal Assistant/RTS Manager Myler Disability American Fork, Utah Inbound/Outbound calls for clients applying for Social Security/Disability benefits. Completed prescreening on clients for eligibility to see if we were able to represent them. Myler Disability is law firm that represents clients filing disability/Social Security claims. I transferred to the “Ready to Schedule” dept. shortly after starting there where I managed my own clients. I managed between 35-55 clients at any given time. Kept track of all their paperwork, emails, faxes, medical records, court documents and was responsible to create a file for each client to prepare them for their court date. I corresponded with SSI offices and updated them with any new information or received updates for clients. Followed with my clients and provided updates about their claim. Several secretarial job duties, filing, charting, notating, data entry, customer service, web navigating, I loved this job because I knew I was making a difference in someone’s life and I could see the result.

Food Service/Office Specialist II Utah State Hospital Provo, Utah This job was a wonderful experience but was very high security. This hospital is a lock down facility for the criminally insane, mental health patients and troubles youth. The first 6 years I worked in the kitchen preparing meals for patients, preparing prep for next day, cooked special meals for patients with specific needs, and all patients who were living there. Prepared roughly 250-300 meals twice a day for patients. I was one of the closing managers/cooks there. Responsible for employees under me to assist with serving patients meals, cleaning up serving lines, cleaning all kitchen equipment, washing dishes, quality control on food. Stocked food items drove delivery truck to deliver meals,

Transferred to one of the adult units at the hospital and was the Unit clerk/Office Specialist over the unit. Several responsibilities with this position. Responsible for patient charts, charting them, notating them daily, updating all info when needed, tracked patient meds, kept track of patient schedules, Scheduled doctor appointment for off grounds appointments, Transported patient to appointments. Assisted nurses on the unit with customers, completed all requests and tasks that the doctors requested. Scheduled unit meetings for the employees and notated all info that was gone over in them. Ran unit errands when needed. Responsibilities: filing, charting, date entry, copying, faxing, patient care. cleaned the living areas of the unit, assisted patients with cleaning their rooms, and laundry.
