Production Supervisor

Managed 32 unionized employees producing printed and unprinted paper products for the food industry. These included bags, waxed / unwaxed sandwich wraps and sheets in a 24/7 work environment. Developed standard operating practices for 2 new machines.

Developed training manuals for 4 packaging operations.

Worked closely with Scheduling, Warehousing, Packaging and Maintenance to coordinate materials, packaging and finished goods delivery and preventative maintenance.

Participated in daily management meetings to evaluate output, resolve issues. Also reviewed upcoming production plans to anticipate challenges and devise solutions.

Project Manager on 2 capital equipment installations valued at $450K and $1.3M respectively.
