As a process quality engineer in Siechem my day-to-day activities involves in preparing inspection certificates for all the railways and marine products, documentation of customer complaints & inspection cases, handling customer complaints both internal and external which is followed through ECN records.

KEY ROLES:

• Perform documented first in piece in process & final Inspection.

• Maintained records & developing the reports for the re-conciliation of raw materials

& instruments Calibration inventories.

• Providing the inspection reports to the consignee, sales and reporting management

• departments.

• Monitoring quality systems, troubleshooting the issues in quality, SPC Reports, SOP Maintenance for new products.

• Monitoring certificates of IS 9001, IS 14001, OHSAS etc.

• Monitoring and Maintaining all Audit records of QC such as Skill Matrix, SPC, CAPA

• reports etc.

• Made quality decisions (accepted or rejected) based on provided control outlines.

• Reviewed production records for accuracy and compliance.

• Performed routine quality inspection operations on industrial and commercial items.

ROLES IN IN-PROCESS QUALITY:

Develops working knowledge of all process areas including process flow, operator responsibility, major quality attributes and areas for improvement.

Conducts and documents results of process trials to improve productivity and/or quality.

Builds quality systems, conducts lab equipment maintenance and calibration, and creates standard operating procedures (SOP).

Implementing product quality improvements by completing root cause analysis.

Creating and maintaining data collection systems.

Provide audit and inspection preparation assistance to internal clients.

Support the In charge in the development of new Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.

Develop and implement the process quality control management systems in operation, including procedures and WI for inspection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designing quality standards, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products, developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.

Verifying GTP & CPD to the quality of the product, whether each item meets the specification, or, indeed, whether the specification might be improved to produce a more reliable product, or one with greater capability.

Monitoring and updating how all the measurement devices are being calibrated, where all the data is being stored, what the overall performance of quality is like.

Ensuring a dig deep into individual quality issues, find the root cause and contribute towards eliminating it.

Ensuring that the purchased materials/components (inputs), in-process materials/semifinished goods (work-in- progress) and final products (completed/finished products) are all meeting the specified requirements.

To ensure that various manufacturing processes are defect free, use statistical techniques (also called SQC techniques or SPC techniques) like histogram, process capability study, run charts, control charts wherever applicable.

H A N D L I N G – 8D:

Review of corrective action reports for customer complaints by using customer preferred techniques such as six sigma, SPC, MSA, FMEA, PFMEA and detection method (POKA YOKE) etc.

Monitoring KPI charts for customer issues.

Documentation of non-conformity reports for internal and external issues with respect to product quality.

Performing root cause analysis and take corrective actions for In-house and customer issues.

Analyzing of defective samples to solve issues received from customer side.

Contributing presence in kaizen activities for continual improvements. SAP KNOWLEDGE –MM MODULE:

Good knowledge in SAP material master Basic data, Plant and Sales views with the data fields and its functionalities

Known of Material types and its purpose.

Aware of the procurement type like vendor purchase, sub-contracting, intercompany purchase and manufacturing products

Worked in front line with production process and known about BoM and routing.

Done material creation, extension and enrichment of master data fields through mass transaction codes. A C H I E V E M E N T S:

Performed in SUPPLIER QUALITY CIRCLE COMPETITION (customer complaints solving in OD High Issue) Programmed for YAZAKI conducted in Pune, where I performed and presented with my team and won the event night which was completed by 34 teams.
