11/2017 - 03/2019 M&M Expedite, LLC Crossville, TN I was originally hired to file and answer phones but i was blessed enough that my persistence to help with everything else in the office paid off. I was responsible for speaking with and keeping up with the over the road drivers that he employed. When they would need a repair or had an accident I would find a repair shop to have it taken to as well as a hotel for them to spend the night. I did payroll and helped prepare taxes to go to the tax agent. I would take him when he had to go pick up trucks drivers abandoned so he could bring them back to the lot. I also typed the service orders that were handwritten from the service advisor and the technicians into the computer and coded them when it was covered by insurance. I also was in charge of keeping up with the hours the technicians worked on the job and some times helped to add the hours at the end of week. I also had to count the money in my register and close it out after it was compared to the insurance claims to balance my drawer. I filed the service files after the jobs had been completed and double checked within three days of their service. I also answered phone calls and dealt directly with customers and insurance companies. I took down all of their information to see if we would be a good fit for them and that they prequalified for a low income home loan through two of the companies that we dealt with. I would see them through the application process, do a background and credit check, make sure they qualified for grant money, then submit that information to the loan company we were trying to use. If they did not qualify I would help them understand why and also do what I could to fix the issue so they could reapply. If they did qualify I would then send them to my co worker to decide on land and floorplans. This is the job that I was hired for but because I was eager to learn and caught on quickly I was able to assist in the entire process of building or buying a home. I filed and answered phones. I also did payroll for a few months when my Executive Director had to much on his plate. I was also responsible for running errunds and picking up documents. Then when it was all done I was in charge of completing the file and having it ready for the home loan closing with our attorney and I was able to attend and participate because I was an asset to the company and put myself in the place that I wasnt just needed I was also wanted.
