Receives and reviews physician’s orders for imaging procedure and identify the patient.

Screen patients for safety and inform patient concerning the procedure.

Review and comply with pertinent patient history, physical examination, and supporting clinical date to facilitate clinical data.

Transfer, position and instruct the patient in preparation for the exam.

Elicit the cooperation of patients by explaining procedures and comfort those who fear magnetic resonance.

Insert IV line into the vein through the arm or hand to inject contract media into the IV line.
