Soccer, Hiking, Reading
I played soccer throughout my life, allowing me to take my enjoyment for sports and helping children. By playing soccer all through my time at school I was able to establish a sense of responsibility, work ethic, time management and how to work as a team. Soccer has given me the ability to become a well-rounded and strong employee.
I enjoy hiking and camping due to my love of nature. The outdoors is a place that cannot be compared to anything else. The beauty and intoxication of looking down from a tall mountain, to see what you have accomplished. There is no other feeling then the rush you get from taking in the sights and the fresh breeze that is life.
I have always struggled as a reader. I participated in a reading group for the first 4 years of my elementary life. As a competitive person this gave me the drive to do something about it. I read more than what was recommended, I worked with my parents, and I asked for help. This struggle allowed me to grow and develop learning habits that were beneficial for myself. It also taught me that I am a strong individual who will overcome any obstacle to be where she deserves.
