Resume:

AMY E. McGINTY e-mail: adqn0i@r.postjobfree.com

West Chester PA 19382 phone: 610-***-****

To Whom It May Concern:

I am interested in working in laboratory studies or related field, wanting to attain more skills in the work place while learning new information, and am open minded about new opportunities. I have always enjoyed problem solving and, with my knowledge of laboratory and safety work, I believe I would be a great asset to your company. I chose to pursue my degree in Biology from Millersville University in order to make a positive contribution to both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, as well as continuing my education and exploring other fields. Some of the courses I completed include: Cell Biology, Ecology, Conservation Biology, Botany, Plant Systematics, Geology, Aquatic Biology, Zoology, Genetics, Mammalogy, Physics, Chemistry, and Calculus. For over four years I have worked as the laboratory technician at a wastewater plant, where I’ve gained many more skills running tests as well as familiarity with a multitude of lab equipment and ordering and maintaining an inventory of appropriate supplies. After requesting to take additional courses for work, I have been instrumental in attaining new equipment, modernizing lab procedures, creating new SOP’s, and simplifying QC processes. Attached is my resume, outlining my professional and educational experiences. I’ve become passionate about my work and greatly enjoy working in diverse environments. I also enjoy writing, and working on team assignments. My past work experiences all involved working with others. I have had the great pleasure of being asked to return to work by former employers. Based on my experience and dedication of hard work, I am confident that I would make a positive contribution to your team. Since my resume can neither detail all my skills and accomplishments nor predict my potential, I would greatly appreciate an interview at your convenience. I look forward to your reply and thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely,

Amy E. McGinty
