-Oversaw the disassembly of unit 5. Installed and welded new draft tube liner with parking ledge. Machining in place of,parking ledge, bottom ring and headcover. Assembled unit back with new components and upgraded to mid flow with Do2 piping. Unit Aligned.

Duke Energy- Wylie Hydro Station Unit 4 Rebuild

Tega Cay, SC

-Oversaw the disassembly of unit 4. New draft tube liner was installed and welded in place with access man door. Field machining took place on parking ledge, bottom ring and headcover. Assembled unit with new Components, upgraded to Mid Flow and unit aligned.

Duke Energy - Marshall Steam Station Coal Conveyor Project -Foreman

Sherrils Ford, NC

-Managed over the rigging, erection and seal welding of Surge tank on the conveyor island. Setting of and final alignments of Miscellaneous pumps. Assisted with running over 2000 ft of 12’ fiberglass piping while installing and welding out hangers.

Duke Energy -Lookout Shoals Hydro- Foreman

Statesville, NC

-Supervised over a rebuild of vertical hydro unit 3, and machining the head cover and bottom ring seal flanges. Safety and quality are key to completion of this task.

Duke Energy- Wateree Hydro Oil Containment- Foreman

Ridgeway, SC

Safely manage crew on installation oil containment system on tailrace wall under five transformers. Job included hanging of iron and beams, anchoring off tailrace wall, working off of a 40 x 60 foot barge with a hydraulic crane. Over 500 ft of 10 “ piping and installation of 5000 underground tank, and the pouring of concrete of each oil containment

Duke Energy- Voith Hydro Rhodhiss- Unit 3, Oxford Unit 2

Hickory NC

-Safely managed crew on vertical hydro unit rebuilds. The unit was completely disassembled, aligned, and assembled with new upgraded runner for river aeration.

Duke Energy- Belews Creek – Cliffside and Marshall Steam Stations

Supervised and rebuild of several FGD Booster fans including managing budgets and meeting time frame requirements. Over 20,000 pounds of rigging and crane operations while maintaining a safe work environment. Meeting specifications in last optic alignments criteria.
