This entails specialist sourcing, negotiation and subsequent procurement of a wide range of products. Continued dealing with relevant parastatal companies in their tender processes that would include evaluation of needs, drawing up specifications and ultimate source and supply of materials. Alignment of the organisation’s modus operandi to comply better with relevant requirements in terms of tender procedures.

Special Projects, Wholesale and Procurement

Being wholesale based, the investigation of alternative and new sources of supply through a global network. This includes the evaluation of worldwide manufacturing and import propositions of retail products to compliment the existing retail commodity range of Agra Ltd(retail). BONA FIDE INVOLVEMENTS

1) Former Treasurer: AAN (Archery Association of Namibia) (2015-2016) Managing at the time well above N$ 1 million worth of funds of this bona-fide sports organisation registered with the NNOC (Namibia National Olympic Committee) as well as NSC (Namibia Sports Commission), who is the regulatory body for Namibian sports and Archery as such and represents both field and target archery sub-division.

2) Member of the Namibia Civil Aviation Review Committee: Serving on this committee since it’s inception in June 2013 as official representative of the Microlight Association of Namibia. This committee is appointed by government and its duty is to review and propose new and/or amended legislation pertaining to civil aviation.

3) Chairman: MICAN (Microlight Association of Namibia) (2005-2007) and (2010 to current) a government designated bona fide aircraft recreational organisation with full delegation from the Namibian Civil Aviation Authority. Served initially as safety officer in the organisation from 2001- 2005.

This association acts on behalf of and represent approx. 270 members and are responsible for the overall control and regulation of the microlight and non-type certified flying sport as such. I am also a South African qualified Approved Inspector (AI) authorised to do compulsory annual inspections on microlight aircraft.

4) Former Chairman: NAADA (Namibian Arms and Ammunition Dealers Association) (2004-2005) representing 29 relevant arms and ammunition dealers throughout Namibia. This association is the only active means of communication between industry players and Nampol or Government as such.
