Please accept this letter, as I express my enthusiastic interest in the nurse practitioner position, at your healthcare facility. I believe that my previous nursing experience in various specialties and nurse practitioner clinical experiences, have molded me to become a suitable candidate for this healthcare organization.

In addition to my nurse practitioner clinical experiences, I have had the opportunity to practice “hands on” skills with patients of all ages in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Women’s Health, and Obstetrics, in out-patient settings. In each population, I managed acute visits, chronic visits, wellness visits, and comprehensive visits. I have had opportunities to manage care for various age groups, expanded my knowledge, experience, and skills. I have also worked as a registered nurse, in different specialties which include internal medicine, hospice, medical surgical, pediatrics, mom-baby, homecare, Certified Nursing Assistant clinical adjunct and ambulatory care, for a total of 13 years. I feel confident in my ability to serve others in this profession because I have obtained the education, skills, and ambition to continue learning from other professionals.

The opportunity to work at your healthcare institute is appealing to me because it will allow me to provide services to diverse cultures, vulnerable populations, and communities around the upstate. This position will also give me the opportunity to treat patients with various symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and diversified care.
