• Lead Concrete Paving Superintendent for the 635 East Project, design-build roadway construction project by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to improve mobility, operations and safety along Interstate 635 (I-635) in Dallas County. The project spans 11 miles beginning just east of US 75 in North Dallas to I-30 in Mesquite. Construction began in the spring of 2020 and will last through late 2024. The Bid was awarded to Pegasus-Link Constructors (Joint Venture between Fluor Corporation & Balfour Beatty US). ($1.7B)

• I have been spearheading the Concrete Paving Operations corridor wide; from managing around a hundred (100) craft employees and nine (9) Concrete Paving Discipline Foremen coordinating them in accordance with each segment paving needs meeting their independent milestones and critical path works in communication with the other segment paving superintendents coordinating weekly field meetings between all of three segments which the job is divided; assisting the PM, the Segment Manager and the Paving Manager in the equipment distribution, utilization, timecards submittal & approval for each crew and also distributing the concrete material yield reports for each cost code in the Continuously Reinforced Concrete Paving discipline (9”, 10”, 11” & 13” Thick CRCP) making sure with the support of the Lead Concrete Paving Engineer we follow the Job Specific TXDOT Standards building it per plan and on budget.

• Also, responsible to manage the Steel Tie Subcontractor making sure we are covered with sufficient crews from his end to meet each segment necessities following up with the on a daily

& weekly basis.

FLUOR HEAVY CIVIL Lead Concrete Paving Superintendent Irving, TX August 2018 – March 2021

• Lead Concrete Paving Superintendent for the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) TxDOT SH 360 Widening Project. The project consisted in widening a 5.4-mile section of SH 360 from three lanes to four lanes each direction by adding an additional north and southbound lane. Bridges at Park Row Drive and Mayfield Road will be widened, and the bridge over Abram Street and its entrance and exit ramps will be fully rebuilt. Construction began in June 2018, and completion is estimated in 2020. Once complete, the project will improve mobility in the Arlington area. ($53M)

• Lead Concrete Paving Superintendent for the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) Bid-Build contract for the construction of the Interstate Highway (IH) 20 Frontage Roads project in Dallas County, Texas. The project includes the construction of 2.4 miles of new frontage roads and ramps between SH 161/Lake Ridge Parkway and Belt Line Road, intersection reconstruction and reconfiguration, and construction of U-turns and sidewalks. Each IH 20 frontage road will consist of one to two 12-foot-wide inside travel lanes, one 14-foot-wide outside shared-use lane and one 12-foot-wide auxiliary lane. Portions of the existing eastbound and westbound frontage road between SH 161 and Robinson Road will be removed and reconfigured to align with the new frontage roads. ($11.3)

• Lead Concrete Paving Superintendent for the Texas Department of Transportation's (TxDOT) U.S. 287 project in Ellis County, Texas. The project widened approximately 4.5 miles of U.S. 287 from two lanes to a four-lane divided asphalt highway with continuous frontage roads, project began in the spring of 2017 and was completed in October 2019.

• On all the Fluor Heavy Civil Jobs as shown above, I was the front man in guiding the Paving Crew’s on each project assisting the Regional Infrastructure Manager and the Project Manager on following each project schedule paving phasing plan, critical path works and meeting traffic switches milestones while overseeing the equipment utilization, man power efficiency inside the paving operation optimizing their use for the benefit of the project budget. Also managing the steel tie subcontractor, meeting with them on a daily & weekly basis making sure they’re being as productive as they can while providing the sufficient manpower that was previously discussed and agreed upon their contract with Fluor Heavy Civil.
