ACADEMIC PROJECT:
NOx Emission Control Using Selective Catalytic Reduction Method
The aim of the project is to reduce the amount of nitrogen oxides in the atmosphere lead out as exhaust from engines . The main components are ammonia and catalytic converter, When the engine is set on the exhaust is mixed with ammonia solution as spray pattern and the oxides of nitrogen reacts with ammonia and forms nitrogen which enters enters catalyst bed and filtered and led to atmosphere . As the result the amount of NOx content in diesel engine exhaust gas is reduced.
