Roles & Key Responsibilities:

As a QC Inspector:

Perform inspection and test activities, and approval of inspection and test report.

Issue materials receiving report for the delivered materials.

Following up the concreting works in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant, slump test and cubes preparation for the compressive test.

Finishing work checking in a presence of the Engineer or Consultant. Coordinate QC activities at the Vendor (Supplier) works and on Site and liaise with the Client’s Third Party Inspector as necessary.

Involved in inspections/documentation in Civil & Architectural works of Reinforced Concrete structures: Structural Steel Structures, Pipe Rack / Pipe Bridge, Culverts, Manholes, Pull Pits, Fire Water/Product Pump House, Control Building, LV & HV Building, Emergence Transfer Pump House and many more.

Prepare and submit Handover reports of finished structures/segments as completed work items.

Track all deficiencies relative to his/her responsibilities until repaired and accepted.

Checks the sampling operations (when required).

As Assisting with QC Engineer:

Review the Material Technical Data Sheet -reviewing properly the properties of material compliance with the requirement of the specification, to avoid rejection and delays. Prepare a comparison sheet before you finally submit the material to the Engineer.

Preparation of Method Statement -develop a method statement for the particular work on the site and make sure that it is submitted to the Consultant or Engineer and should be approved prior to starting the job on the site. Prepares method statement ahead of schedule for the jobs and consider making a plan for all the method statements preparation and submission.

Review Method Statement approval or comments of the Engineer and take action. Any corrective action in the comments is immediately complied and eventually reverts back for final approval. Addressing comments in a timely manner until method statement is finalized.

Submit Inspection Request for Engineers Inspection of a certain job before proceeding with the succeeding work. Making sure that the job to be inspected is completed so that there will be no revisions or rejection of the inspection. The job will be inspected after 24 hours the Inspection Request is submitted.

Issue Internal NCR or Site Observation -Prepares non-conformance report (NCR) and verify the non-conforming condition. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Clients requirements.

Conduct regular Site Surveillance -Assure that the work is performed as required by the contract and meets or exceeds the required qualities. Monitoring and administering the QA/QC Plan or Program and ensures incorporated materials on construction projects are in compliance with the plans and specifications. Assure the acceptable quality of materials, processes, and workmanship in the project work.

Control Supervisor non-conformances reports

Prepare QA/QC Reports -Oversees the collection, maintenance and retrieval system for completed quality documentation for final processing and record retention. Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, noncompliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents.
