Hence, I requested a Work from Home or “blended work” arrangement since I strongly believe I can do it as I’ve done it before while in Avail A Work where I oversee the Company even in the comfort of my home. Sadly, my dear wife passed away last April 2021. Achievements:

• During my first 90-days, Management approved my several recommendations one was to hire the “Business Team” or “core people” and identified and develop the current high potential but untapped leaders/employees that would help further the Company’s growth and development. At present, 4 key people are already occupying Managerial / Executive positions

• Conducted Leadership Development Program to potential Leaders from several departments / units.

• Professionalize the HR Department by streamlining its Recruitment and Administrative processes (i.e. handling administrative cases)

Reason for leaving: Like most other companies, Avail A Work was badly hit financially due to pandemic

Achievements:

• Able to increase and maintain the number of clients by 30%

• Able to adapt my mantra of doing more with less. Professionalize and enhanced the organization’s Human Resources department by crafting the organizational set-up where the Company’s work force was reduced from 25 to just 18 strong but efficient employees. This in turn improved the HR processes and procedures where the Company was able to save at least Php 105K/month (at Php 15K/month salary of 7 HR Staff) on overhead cost.

Achievements:

• As Assistant Manager, I was directly reporting to the Company owner/VP Operations since we do not have an HR Manager for 2 years. The company saves at least Php1.2M (at Php50K/month salary of HR Manager that time) for 2 years since I was able to efficiently perform the HR Manager role with only 2 HR Supervisors directly reporting to me and 6 indirect HR Assistants

• When the HR Manager came, I was performing the Recruitment, Training, and HR Audit functions while conducting store visits outside Metro Manila. Efficiently assisted the HR Manager when I am in our Quezon City Office. This has resulted to Company savings of at least Php 240K/year (at Php 20K/month salary of HR Audit Personnel at that time).
