Ginger Burch was a cultural monitor for construction of the Schofield Barracks Battle Area Complex, O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. Mrs. Burch has six years of experience as a cultural monitor for U.S. Army construction projects. She has ancestral ties to the Oahu’s Central Plateau area. She assisted with recording many of the cultural sites discovered. She is knowledgeable about Hawaiian culture and community. She enjoys playing ukulele, singing, and dancing hula. She also volunteers feeding the homeless in her community while cleaning a taro patch at Ka‘ala Farms, a Wai‘anae farm dedicated to preserving Hawaiian culture and strengthening the relationship between the land and people.
