Working as Senior Project quality /commissioning Engineer for PENSPEN INTERNATIONAL LTD on DAR AL HANDASAH project from December 2014 till September 2020.
Project: King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) expansion project Jeddah: Fuel Farm and Fuel Hydrant Network facility.

Fuel Farm:
The fuel farm consists of Jet A-1Storage tanks (8no’s x10, 000m3), Filter coalescers, Hydrant pumps, refueller loading station, oily water system, Drain system and tank gauging system, metering systems and Fire water/foam system and potable water system. Underground GRE Piping for Fire Fighting system.
Fuel Hydrant Network consists of Headers and Piping, Valve pits for Isolation like main Distribution Pit, hydrant Distribution pit, leak detection Pit and isolation valve pit, fuel loading to refuellers, product Drain and fuel Recovery system, oily water Disposal system, fire protection system.

Phase 2: Second phase comprised of Fuel oil and gas oil pump station along with hot oil system with blending unit for fuel oil, fire fighting facility for all the tanks, pig launcher receiver and piping to oil terminal berth of Port of Fujairah and tank farm.

This project is a Jet Fuel Facility to cater to aircrafts in Dubai World Central International Airport Jebel Ali. The scope of work included construction of 6 storage tanks with floating suction for storing JetA1 fuel, with associated piping and fire fighting systems

Group.LAO plant is 150,000 tonne/year capacity built by Germanys Linde Engineering.
●Project: N-Paraffin and linear alkylene benzene plant. (The client was Gulf farabi petrochemicals. It has a capacity to produce 120,000 tpa of normal paraffin (n-paraffin) and 70,000 tpa of linear alkyl benzene (LAB).
●Project: Uncoil cold mill complex al Jubail. KSA.(Unicoil is250,000 MT per annum capacity cold mill complex located in al Jubail KSA producing G.I Steel coils).
Duties and responsibilities
Reinstatement of punch lists, Line checking and preparing punch list prior to release for hydro test, final mechanical completion activities, witnessing hydro and pneumatic tests, Responsible for pre-commissioning(flushing, air blowing, vessel inspection and Box up), review of inspection test plans, shop drawings and procedures.
Responsible for inspection of tanks and entire piping system in alkylene benne plant. Preparing punch list prior to release for hydro testing. Final mechanical completion activities. Reinstatement of punch list activities, final inspection with client’s inspector prior to handover. Witnessing hydrostatic and pneumatic tests. Coordinating with engineering for as built Drawings. Provide complete process documentation and witnessing for third party and client Coordinating commissioning team in tanks and piping inspection. Attend construction progress and QC meeting with subcontractors to resolve quality and construction issues, responsible for commissioning of tanks and connected pipe lines.

Construction of welded vertical storage tanks and offsite piping. Fabrication, errection, testing
and precomissioning of various systems.
Designation: Site Quality Inspector
Duties and responsibilities:
Perform duties as directed by QA/QC engineer. Receiving material inspection, prepare MIR
and offer to client/ consultant inspectors. Carry out surveillance on dimensional inspection of
Vertical storage tanks out of roundness, plumbness, vacuum tests, and penetrating oil tests,
Settlement tests at various water levels, hydrostatic test, blasting, DFT checks, and dolly pull
Off tests. Painting/coating materials verification, method of application, detergent and potable
Water jet Washing etc. for welded steel storage tanks. Witness pneumatic & functional tests
for floating Roof crude oil storage tanks. Perform inspection at various stages of erection-
grouting Installation, alignment, commissioning. Monitor and control register for calibration of
machines And instruments. Prepare test packages for all the required activities have been
completed for the piping system. Verify pressure test limits with hydro test diagrams verify
materials and ensure the size, quantity and required torque has been attained as per bolt
tightening sequence. Witness positive material identification (PMI). Check the low hydrogen
electrodes are stored properly in ovens and used with quivers in suitable temperature. Co-
ordinate with NDT contractor to carry out RT, UT, MT, PT & post weld heat treatment as
per required project .Specifications .control post weld heat treatment and review time –
temperature graph as per project requirements. UP-date and maintain daily weld inspection
reports, layouts, fit-ups, welding, dimensional and visual inspection reports, request for NDT
contractor, weld Inspection summary sheets, material traceability report, material inspection
reports, pressure test package as per P&ID, and isometric drawings.
