My name is Natalie García Alba, since I was a child I learned to look at myself among others, to write diaries to get to know myself and play with my stuffed animals so that they would learn to multiply. After so much, I managed to be what I wanted so much, a literature teacher, creative writing to help others to develop cognitively. Critical thinking strengthens us, makes us better people, more human.
I am a doctoral candidate in Educational Sciences from the Cuauhtémoc University Campus Aguascalientes, my research has been presented at the state level in important education forums, it deals with the contribution of personal diaries in the creative writing of high school students. I have a Master's degree in Education UNID, I have a degree in Hispanic Literature from the UAA.
Since 2010, I have been a voluntary reading promoter in the National Reading Program, in different school sectors, marginal, etc. One of the strategies like the human library to demystify the paradigms and prejudices that we have of others. Reading each other is also a way of loving each other.
I have completed the diplomas: Diploma in Creativity and self-awareness at the Cuauhtémoc University (2019), Diploma in Sexuality in the framework of Social Resilience and Human Rights at the Cuauhtémoc University (2018), Diploma in Professionalization of the Reading Room Mediator by CONACULTA- UAM-Xochimilco (2015).
In the teaching activity I have been a high school teacher giving the subjects of: Greco-Latin Etymologies, Logic, Philosophy, Ethics, Reading and Writing Workshop and Literature. Likewise, from General and Private Secondary Schools, teaching the subjects of: Spanish, Visual Arts, Tutoring and Theater. I have also independently taught Spanish to foreigners.
I have been a presenter of the Master Conference of the Aguascalientes Book Fair 2017 given by Luigi Amara. She participated as a speaker in the Round Table on Academia and Literature at the Aguascalientes Book Fair 2017. She presented the XV years of the Algarabía magazine with Victoria García Jolly at the Aguascalientes Book Fair 2016. She organized the presentation of the book Little Electric City by Román Villalobos, at Casa Terán. He participated as a human book in the III Human Library event “Women in command” Don't judge a book by its cover, in the Jacarandas patio. He also interviewed the writer Valeria Luiselli.
Independently, I have corrected the style of theses, books. He has written scripts for advertisements in Mexico and the US. In 2020, he gave workshops to promote reading at the Los Pinos Cultural Center. He taught workshops to promote reading and writing for children at CIELA (2018). He has organized the archive of the Center for Arts and Culture of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes (2015). He also gave reading promotion workshops Drawing my imaginary friend for children aged 4 to 6 at the 34th International Children's and Youth Book Fair for CONACULTA.
In the field of Social Service, I have been a volunteer in the Vacation Camp for refugee children in Switzerland, by the organization Building Bridges of Peace (2018).
Also, I wrote an online diary for the Media Practices project in the youth network about the politics of Dr. Rebeca Padilla at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. And he taught gastronomy courses for the children of the Telethon.
I have received recognition for his teaching work focused on the Promotion of Reading by the Institute of Education of Aguascalientes and for the action research he carried out with the students.
