Curriculum Vitae
YVONNE JEANETTE OPPERMAN
I am a high-performing Assistant that is smart, confident, an excellent communicator and a strategic thinker. I am also a problem solver and very happy to take the initiative and can proactively support the objectives and goals of the Executive(s) that I support. I am also a responsible, diligent individual with strong administrative skills. I believe that I am the best candidate because of my extensive customer service and management experience and my ability to adapt to any situation. I have a passion for success and goal-oriented attitude that would push me to accomplish my set tasks. Also, with my personable character I can work well and communicate with others to contribute to team efforts. In all that I do I would strive to advance the company, and I feel that my previous work experience proves that. While my daily duties as an executive assistant will inevitably mirror the responsibilities of my executive, it’s essential for our goals to be aligned. Because of this, I take a substantial interest in achieving goals, as I know for a fact that my success is linked with those of my executive. As an Executive Assistant I am responsible for a variety of professional, and sometimes personal, coordination for executives. I constantly have anything, and everything thrown at me so I must prepare myself by having the best tools to call upon at a moment's notice. I am also frequently requested to help with reports, presentations, and other correspondence and therefor I have a strong written communication skills and intermediate office software skills (MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). I also act as a gatekeeper and personal representative. I am trusted to screen calls and requests for meetings, and I handle it with a pleasant and professional demeanor. I also have access to a great deal of sensitive information therefor I maintain a high level of confidentiality. I also strongly believe that there is nothing more powerful in any business than trust. It unlocks doors and is by far the most important element to anyone’s success. With trust comes respect, and how you earn respect is by doing what’s right, regardless of personal risk. Through my years of working experience, I have learnt that successful people embrace risk and learn from their mistakes. Staying safe does not promote personal or professional growth. Making a mistake is never a bad thing as long as you learn from it. You will never be measured or judged by a single mistake. The only people who never make a mistake are the ones who do nothing. 2
