WORK EXPERIENCE

2004 – Worked as a labour for Basaga Construction building a double storey for the Talatala Residence at the Wainivula Church Compound

2005 – Join the Public Works as an Apprentice working on the different job sites from maintenance to capital works, estimating works to refurbishment works

2009 – Completed my Apprentice training undergoing all major and minor works for the department from assisting the tradesmen to being team leader. Engaged as an Assistant Carpenter doing maintenance work through other government Ministries.

2010 – Contracted as an Assistant Carpenter being sent to carry out works to Vanuabalavu Is. A duplex and a grade 5 quarters was constructed on two location on this island.

2011- Island tour to Rotuma constructing the Bio Fuel building and returning to the capital worked on the maintenance of the Lami fisheries

2012- Contracted as a Carpenter B worked on the Raiwaqa Dental Clinic and the Maintenance of the Government quarters at Naitonitoni

2013 – Started a small construction company worked on the Hurricane Thomas fund building 24 by 16 houses in the western area of Viti Levu.

2014 – Join the Ministry of works as an Assistant Carpenter for the Koronivia Museum projects and was promoted to Leading Hand under the new three year contract which was posted by the department.

2015 –As a Leading Hand, worked on several maintenance works around the division island trip to Kadavu and Rotuma worked on the electrical section workmen shed

2016 –As a Leading Hand, doing Special Maintenance work in the division working on several job sites allocated within the Ministry and through other Government Ministries. Team leader for the completion of the Matuku Bio Fuel, Kadavu DO’s Office and Gau DO’s office for defect works.

2017 – Joined the Estimating Section doing material schedules, man hour, material costing and summary for the different works which we are given, this are mostly Government properties and drawings which are to be maintained or for refurbishment work.

2018 – Estimating and Costing works for Government Ministries, Government tour for Cyclone Keni Assessment team to Kadavu for damages in the villages and government quarters after the cyclone, Clerk of Works for the New Office and Grade 6 Quarters for Dada Government station in Namosi

2019 – Estimating and Costing works for the various Government works assigned to the section which includes doing material schedule, man hour and material costing and summary for the different works allocated.

2020 – Estimating and Costing works for the various Ministries doing material schedule, labour schedules and material costing and work summary

2021- Estimating and Costing works

. – Sacramento Airport Matheson Flight Extenders Ramp Ground handler Part time.

2022 – Part time Associate with the Home Depot at Windsor.
