The New America School, USA 11/22 to present

Working in the role of Academic Interventionist, I carry a caseload of students who need support in their subject area studies. I am also working in ESL in the evenings at the local community college, Community College of Aurora.

Re-1 Valley Schools, Colorado, USA 7/15/20- 12/31/2020

Taught American Literature to 9th-12th grade students in a rural setting. Developed their writing skills and created weekly quizzes and monthly exams as assessment. Hoping to relocate again to an ESL setting.

Suenos Compartidos, Pasto, Colombia, South America, 2/15/2020-5/15/2020

Worked as a volunteer in Colombia for three months after leaving China due to covid. Assisted classroom teachers in their classrooms, grades 11-12. Had to discontinue when all schools in country were closed due to covid-19.

Teaching as an Adjunct Professor with first and second year students in English Language and Culture and Business English. My program was part of a cooperative relationship with Clark University in the state of Massachusetts in the United States. Teaching young adults who are transitioning into oil related industries throughout Oman. Duties include teaching five to six hours per day and supervision of course level exams.

Coordinator for the English Language Program for the National Institute of Technology and Hydrocarbon, Equatorial Guinea, Africa. Responsibilities included recruitment, interviewing staff instructors world-wide, curriculum development, all initial materials and book ordering, staff scheduling and in-house personnel matters, teaching load of classes to beginning and intermediate level national trainees to be production and maintenance personnel offshore with various oil companies.
