ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PURCHASE:

• Developing of different suppliers from the market as per the operation requirements

• Validation of costs for all sheet metals including consumables, fasteners by working

• with functional teams in order to calculate and source vendor based on cost and quality 2

• Initiate RFQ with suppliers and negotiating for best price

• Managing Purchase order and ensure timely release of POs to suppliers based on MRP

• Ensure 100% parts availability to support on time production

• Follow up with shipments and ensure on time delivery of material from domestic suppliers

• Selling excess Inventory stock to other vendor, distributors

• Scrap process if material get disqualified

• Make sure to release payment to all the suppliers on time in order to avoid any shipment hold

• Maintaining supplier’s details in our company data

• Responsibilities on clearing warehouse, Quality and Account payable/Finance related issue

• Reconciliation vendor Statement with company System & Manual. Stock Verification, Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance

• Material Management. Planning for daily consumables material for next one month. Billing status. Making the comparative statement.

• Ensure the quality & quantity of material purchase at site.

• Creating different reports as required by Management JOB RESPONSIBILITY

STORES

• Inbound logistics activities.

• Receipt of raw materials and preparation of store inward documents.

• Receipt of finished parts and preparation of store inward documents 3

• Semi finished parts receipts and preparation of sub contract documents

• Issuing of materials for production lines using issue slip method

• Inventory control using collection slip method (MRS)

• Monitoring of subcontract materials flow

• Maintain and submission of weekly records of the employees and other activities like attendance, error documents, material handling equipment status, etc

• Monitoring of daily inventory and discussion with buyer to control inventory

• Ensure the availability of RM for production process

• Planning for RM and child parts for production

• Monitoring of inter unit material flow and documentation

• Identification of all materials stored using Bin card system
